| We
firmly believe that the days of expensive time lapse VCR's, multiplexers,
splitters and dumb monitors are numbered. Today, this expensive and
performance-limited equipment can be replaced by computer technology to
give better recording quality, control and functionality, including remote
viewing. Usually for a lower price. |
DVR Technology unmatched capability with an
amazing low price.

Systems, DVRs are complete hardware/software computer systems incorporating
video capture, video multiplexing, video recording and playback, video display

selected components which are proven to work well together in the demanding
video processing environment. Software, hardware and firmware settings are
carefully optimized to ensure maximum performance without problems.

Common
Features of Sentry V600 DVRs.
 |
Video
pixel resolution of 640x480 or 320x240 per camera image
is selectable and changeable at any time but all cameras
must be the same.
|
 |
A
choice of MPEG4 or Wavelet compression for local
recording is selectable by camera (MPEG4 gives about 4
times the compression of Wavelet).
|
 |
Brightness
and contrast is adjustable for each individual camera.
|
 |
Live
video can be displayed in single camera or various
multi-camera modes. Multi-camera display can be
immediately switched to single camera by one mouse click
on the desired camera image ( and back again by mouse
click ).
|
 |
Concurrent
recording of live video and playback of recorded video
is supported.
|
 |
Recording
is selectable by camera as continuous or "on
motion". Motion detection is performed by the
software and sensitivity can be set. A schedule of
recording can be set by time and date.
|
 |
Areas
for "motion ignore" can be masked per camera
image. Multiple mask areas per image are allowed.
|
 |
Recordings
are placed in an easily searched log file by Y/M/D and
time. Individual clips or groups of clips can be played
back in single camera or multi-camera modes. Switch from
multi-camera to single camera playback with one mouse
click. Recordings can be played back at normal speed, up
to 8 times faster or up to 16 times slower or frame by
frame. Recordings can be zoomed in on playback in either
single or multi-camera playback modes.
|
 |
"Smart Recording" can be selected, by camera to maximize
recording speed. Smart recording shares the full
recording speed ( 30fps ) only between those cameras
actually recording at any one time.
|
 |
Digital
watermarking can be selected, to prove integrity of
recorded videos. This is particularly useful if
recordings are to be used as evidence in court.
|
 |
Video
clips can be exported in .avi format, with time and date
stamp and played in Windows media player. Single frames
can be enhanced for brightness, contrast and sharpness
and exported in various graphic formats, or printed
directly from the GV600 software.
|
 |
Remote
communication is supported by dial-up server, web-cam
server, TCP/IP server and multicast server. All can be
turned on or off with just one mouse click. Compression
of transmitted images can be set from remote systems as
MPEG4 or wavelet, independent of recording compression
of the host system. MPEG4 will provide much faster
transmission.
|
 |
Remote
systems can record locally with Internet or client
software and host recordings can be accessed remotely by
the client software.
